The Cometic C4954-032 is a high-performance MLX (Multi-Layer Xtreme) cylinder head gasket designed for the Subaru FA20F turbocharged boxer engine. Built for demanding performance and high-output applications, this left-hand side (LHS) head gasket features a 89.5mm bore and a 0.032-inch compressed operating thickness.

The MLX design sets this gasket apart from standard MLS units. It incorporates an additional integrated stopper fold-over layer that provides a torque-limiting surface, preventing yielding of the combustion seal under high cylinder pressures. This design improves clamp load distribution around the cylinder bore without increasing bore distortion.
