Product Details

The Gates 51397 is a premium modular upper radiator coolant hose, also called a molded coolant hose. It carries engine coolant between the engine and the radiator. It is built as a modular assembly and includes integrated OE-style components such as quick-connectors and branch connectors.

Key Features:

  • EPDM tube with synthetic fiber knit reinforcement
  • Heat-, ozone- and coolant-resistant EPDM cover
  • Engineered to resist electrochemical degradation, the leading cause of hose failure
  • Made with OEM-exact hose components, such as quick connects, branch connectors/tees and sensors
  • Made to fit specific applications and similar to OEM specifications

Installation notes: Gates recommends replacing the clamps each time a new coolant hose is installed. Do not use this hose for fuel or oil transfer applications.
