Gates 51399 Modular Upper Radiator Coolant Hose with Quick Connect Fittings

The Gates 51399 is a premium modular upper radiator coolant hose engineered for OEM-quality performance and durability. This factory-molded hose is manufactured to fit specific applications with integrated quick-connect fittings, branches, and other essential components built directly into the assembly.

Key Features:

• EPDM rubber construction with synthetic fiber knit reinforcement for superior strength and longevity
• Three integrated quick-connect fittings eliminate the need for separate connectors
• Engineered to resist electrochemical degradation (ECD), the leading cause of coolant hose failure
• Specifically-designed materials resist vacuum collapse without internal springs
• Heat, ozone, and chemical coolant-resistant EPDM cover for extended service life
• 13-inch centerline length with multiple diameter connections: 1-1/2 inch (38mm) at ends 1 and 2, 13/16 inch (20mm) at end 3
• Meets SAE 20R3 EC Class D1 and SAE 20R4 EC Class D1 specifications
• Temperature range: -40°F to +257°F (-40°C to +125°C)

This modular coolant hose provides a direct-fit replacement solution with OEM-exact components including quick connects and branch connectors. Gates recommends replacing hose clamps each time a new coolant hose is installed for optimal sealing performance. Not intended for fuel or oil transfer applications.
