Detroit Speed Engineering 122008 Electric Headlight Door Kit 1963-1967 Corvette C2

The Detroit Speed Engineering 122008 Electric Headlight Door Kit replaces the stock electric actuated system on all 1963-67 Corvettes. This kit operates the headlight doors more reliably, smoother and in synch than stock using current sensing technology that needs no adjustment and is extremely safe.

Complete Kit Includes:

• Two electric actuators with mounting brackets
• Control module for automatic operation
• Complete wiring harness
• All necessary mounting hardware

Key Features:

• No permanent modifications required - allows owners to return vehicle to original configuration if desired, leaving no holes or spliced wires
• Automatic operation - headlight doors actuate automatically when headlamps are turned on/off, eliminating the problematic factory momentary switch
• Manual override capability - doors can be manually opened and closed for headlight maintenance or cleaning by simply rotating them by hand
• Current sensing technology provides reliable, self-adjusting operation

Detroit Speed has engineered this product to provide the highest quality with the easiest installation for your classic Corvette. This upgrade eliminates the synchronization issues and reliability problems common with the factory electric headlight door system.
