The BMC FB886/01 is a high-performance replacement panel air filter engineered specifically for the 2015 and newer Mazda 2 (DL chassis) equipped with the 1.5 Skyactiv-D 105 diesel engine. This drop-in filter replaces the factory air filter with BMC's premium cotton gauze filtration technology.

Key Features:

• Full-height cotton gauze filter media for maximum airflow and filtration efficiency
• Pre-oiled and ready to install—no preparation required
• Washable and reusable for the lifetime of your vehicle
• Direct OEM replacement design for easy installation with no modifications
• Epoxy-coated alloy mesh provides superior strength and durability
• Improves throttle response and engine performance
• Environmentally friendly alternative to disposable paper filters

BMC air filters are manufactured in Italy using a full molding process with no welded joints, ensuring consistent quality and optimal sealing. The multi-layer oiled cotton gauze construction filters particles down to 7 microns while allowing increased airflow compared to stock paper filters. Simply remove your old filter and drop in the BMC replacement—no special tools or calibration needed. Can be cleaned and re-oiled using BMC cleaning kits for years of reliable service.
