BMC FB489/20 High-Flow Replacement Panel Air Filter for Mercedes A-Class W169

The BMC FB489/20 is a high-performance replacement panel air filter designed for 2004-2012 Mercedes-Benz A-Class (W169) vehicles equipped with the A 160 CDI diesel engine. This direct OEM replacement filter is engineered to deliver superior airflow and filtration compared to standard paper filters.

Key Features:

• Full cotton gauze construction for maximum airflow and engine performance
• Multi-layer oiled cotton design captures contaminants as small as 7 microns
• Washable and reusable - designed to last the lifetime of your vehicle
• Direct drop-in replacement requiring no modifications
• Molded rubber seal ensures perfect fit and prevents unfiltered air bypass
• Pre-oiled and ready to install out of the box
• Epoxy-coated alloy mesh provides structural integrity and durability

BMC air filters are manufactured in Italy using a full molding process that creates a single-piece filter body with integrated rubber gasket. Unlike disposable paper filters that restrict airflow as they accumulate debris, BMC cotton gauze filters maintain consistent performance and can be cleaned and re-oiled multiple times, making them an environmentally friendly and cost-effective choice for your Mercedes.
