BMC FB218/01 High-Performance Sport Panel Replacement Air Filter

The BMC FB218/01 is a high-performance drop-in panel replacement air filter engineered to deliver increased airflow and superior filtration compared to a standard OEM paper filter. It installs directly into the vehicle's factory airbox, making it a straightforward OE-style upgrade with no modifications required.

Constructed using BMC's signature multi-layered cotton gauze soaked in low-viscosity oil and protected by an epoxy-coated alloy mesh, this filter guards against oxidization from air humidity and fuel vapors while maintaining excellent flow characteristics. Filtration efficiency reaches down to 7 microns — finer than the typical OEM paper filter's 10-micron threshold — ensuring cleaner air reaches the combustion chamber without sacrificing intake volume.

Key Features:

• Direct drop-in replacement for the factory airbox — no cutting or modification required
• Multi-layered oiled cotton gauze construction for high filtration efficiency down to 7 microns
• Epoxy-coated alloy mesh protects against fuel vapors and moisture-related oxidization
• Produced via BMC's "Full Moulding" system — single-mould construction with no welded joints for long-term durability
• High-durability rubber sealing for a secure, leak-free fit in all airbox shapes
• Washable and reusable — regenerate with the appropriate BMC cleaning kit for a service-life equal to the vehicle
• Arrives pre-oiled and ready to install
• Characteristic BMC red filter finish

The BMC FB218/01 is an ideal upgrade for performance-minded drivers looking to improve throttle response and engine breathing. Its reusable design makes it a cost-effective long-term alternative to disposable paper filters, with a recommended cleaning interval of approximately 20,000–25,000 km depending on driving conditions.
