Genuine 0071536528 Exhaust Gas Temperature EGT Sensor for Mercedes-Benz

The Genuine 0071536528 is an OEM Exhaust Gas Temperature (EGT) Sensor specifically engineered for Mercedes-Benz diesel vehicles. This critical emission system component continuously monitors exhaust gas temperatures to ensure optimal engine performance, fuel efficiency, and emissions compliance.

Key Features:

• Genuine OEM quality designed to meet exact Mercedes-Benz specifications
• Precision temperature monitoring for proper aftertreatment system operation
• Direct replacement for part numbers 007 153 65 28, A0071536528
• Installed downstream of particulate filter location
• Constructed from high-quality materials engineered to withstand extreme exhaust temperatures
• Corrosion-resistant design for extended service life
• Provides accurate temperature readings to the engine control module (ECM)

EGT sensors play a vital role in modern diesel emission systems by measuring exhaust temperatures at critical points in the aftertreatment system. The sensor transmits temperature data to the ECM, which uses this information to manage diesel particulate filter (DPF) regeneration, selective catalytic reduction (SCR) operation, and overall emission control. A failing EGT sensor can trigger check engine lights and prevent proper DPF regeneration, making timely replacement essential for maintaining vehicle performance and compliance.

This genuine Mercedes-Benz sensor ensures proper fitment and reliable operation, delivering the precision and durability expected from OEM components.
