Product Details

The Dorman 905-026 Shifter Micro Switch is an OE FIX solution designed to restore proper park indicator function without requiring replacement of the entire shifter assembly. This microswitch activates the park indicator display on your instrument cluster and controls the sleep mode function that prevents battery drain.

Key Features:

  • Direct replacement for worn original microswitch
  • Eliminates battery drain caused by cluster failing to enter sleep mode
  • Installs without replacing entire shifter assembly
  • OE FIX design engineered to correct common failure points
  • Restores proper park indicator functionality

This switch is a common wear item that fails with repeated use over time. When the microswitch fails, your instrument cluster may not recognize that the vehicle is in park, preventing it from entering sleep mode and causing parasitic battery drain. The Dorman 905-026 provides a cost-effective repair solution by replacing only the failed component.
