Product Details

The Mitsubishi 1700410128 is an OEM turbocharger assembly designed specifically for BMW N54 twin-turbocharged engines. This is the same turbocharger that BMW installed at the factory for the rear bank (cylinders 4-6) and is used by BMW dealerships for service replacements.

Key Features:

  • Direct OEM replacement turbocharger for BMW N54 engines
  • Rear bank (cylinders 4-6) application
  • Factory-spec performance and reliability
  • Includes turbocharger assembly with exhaust manifold integration
  • Manufactured by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries to BMW specifications

This turbocharger is essential for restoring proper boost pressure and engine performance when the original unit fails. Common symptoms of turbocharger failure include loss of power during acceleration, reduced boost pressure, or the vehicle entering limp mode. BMW N54 engines use twin turbochargers, with this unit serving the rear cylinder bank.
