Power Stop K7978 Z23 Evolution Sport Carbon-Fiber Ceramic Brake Pad & Drilled/Slotted Rotor Kit

The Power Stop K7978 Z23 Evolution Sport Brake Upgrade Kit is a complete, bolt-on brake upgrade solution for daily drivers. This kit delivers a significant step up in braking performance over stock components, combining perfectly matched drilled and slotted rotors with Z23 carbon-fiber ceramic brake pads, premium stainless-steel hardware, and high-performance brake lubricant — everything needed for a straightforward brake job.

Z23 Carbon-Fiber Ceramic Brake Pads:

• Carbon-fiber reinforced ceramic compound engineered for significantly enhanced stopping power versus traditional ceramic pads
• 100% non-ferrous, iron-free formula eliminates metal-to-metal noise and wear
• Low-dust formulation verified through third-party on-vehicle testing, keeping wheels cleaner longer
• Dual-layer high-temp rubberized shims insulate noise for virtually silent braking
• Thermal scorching process heats friction surfaces to up to 700°C, burning off manufacturing residues for a shorter break-in period, lower noise, and higher durability
• OE positive mold technology ensures uniform friction density throughout the pad, controlling premature wear
• Powder-coated backing plate resists rust and corrosion for extended pad life

Drilled & Slotted Zinc Dichromate Rotors:

• Cast from G3000 grade metallurgy with strict OE tolerances for a perfect, no-modification bolt-on fit
• Precision cross-drilled holes maximize rotor cooling, keeping brake temperatures down during demanding conditions
• Rounded slots evacuate brake dust, gas, and debris, maintaining a clear contact patch for consistent, smooth braking
• Silver zinc dichromate plating provides long-lasting protection against rust and corrosion while delivering an aggressive look behind open-spoke wheels

Kit Includes:

• Front and rear drilled & slotted zinc-plated rotors
• Front and rear Z23 carbon-fiber ceramic brake pad sets
• Premium stainless-steel installation hardware (where applicable)
• High-temp ceramic-based brake lubricant

Every component in the K7978 kit is engineered to work together as a system, improving stopping power, durability, and cleanliness over the stock brake setup. The direct-fit design ensures straightforward installation without modifications, making this an ideal upgrade for any daily-driven car, truck, or SUV.
