Quicksilver 8M6007089 MOB+ xFOB Wireless Man Overboard Wearable Kill Switch Fob Red

The Quicksilver 8M6007089 MOB+ xFOB is a wireless wearable Man Overboard (MOB) safety sensor fob designed for use with the MOB+ wireless engine kill switch system. This red xFOB capsule is the Americas-market version and serves as the personal safety device worn by the captain or crew while underway.

When the xFOB loses connection with the xHUB base unit — such as when a person falls overboard — the engine is automatically stopped within seconds, dramatically improving the chance of a safe rescue. The compact xFOB capsule can be worn in a wristband (xBAND, sold separately) or attached via a carabiner clip for hands-free, always-on protection.

Key Features:

• Wireless MOB (Man Overboard) engine kill switch fob — no lanyard cord required
• Automatically stops the engine when the wearer falls overboard and connection to xHUB is lost
• Compatible with the MOB+ Multi-FOB system — supports up to 4 connected users simultaneously
• Red color capsule — Americas market version
• Compact, lightweight design fits inside MOB+ xBAND wristband or carabiner clip attachment (accessories sold separately)
• Functions as either a Stop FOB (captain/master — triggers engine shutdown) or Alarm FOB (passengers — triggers audible and visual alarm)
• Designed and validated to meet Mercury Marine's stringent OEM performance specifications

The Quicksilver 8M6007089 xFOB is an ideal upgrade or replacement for the traditional corded kill switch lanyard, giving operators freedom of movement while maintaining critical engine stop safety on the water. Compatible with the Quicksilver / Mercury Marine MOB+ system for Americas-region vessels.
