Cometic C15415-043 Copper Head Gasket for Chevy Big Block Mark IV 4.630" Bore

The Cometic C15415-043 is a high-performance copper cylinder head gasket engineered specifically for Chevrolet Mark IV Big Block V8 engines with a 4.630" bore diameter. This premium gasket features a .043" (43 thousandths) compressed thickness, making it ideal for high-compression performance builds and racing applications.

Key Features:

• 100% pure copper construction for superior heat dissipation and thermal conductivity
• 4.630" bore diameter accommodates oversized pistons and performance builds
• .043" compressed thickness allows precise compression ratio tuning
• Annealed copper material provides excellent conformability to machined surfaces
• Reusable design—can be re-annealed and reinstalled multiple times
• Ideal for forced induction, nitrous, and naturally aspirated high-compression engines
• Requires O-ringing or receiver grooves in block or head for proper sealing

Cometic's solid copper head gaskets are the choice of professional engine builders and racers who demand maximum reliability under extreme cylinder pressures. The pure copper construction creates an exceptional seal while efficiently transferring combustion heat away from critical sealing areas. These gaskets are designed for competition use and require proper surface preparation including O-ring grooves or receiver grooves machined into the block deck or cylinder head surface.
