Fox Racing Shocks 980-02-109-1 Series Coilover Shock Absorber Black Custom Valving - 2.5 16in

The Fox Racing Shocks 980-02-109-1 is a 16-inch 2.5 Series coilover (C/O) shock absorber finished in black with custom valving, engineered for high-performance off-road and racing applications. Designed for remote reservoir or race/rally (R/R) configurations, this shock delivers superior damping control and durability under extreme conditions.

Fox's 2.5 Series platform is a proven benchmark in performance suspension, featuring a larger 2.5-inch diameter shock body that provides increased oil capacity and improved heat dissipation compared to standard shocks. The result is more consistent damping performance on long runs and demanding terrain.

Key Features:

• 2.5 Series shock body — larger diameter for greater oil volume and reduced heat buildup
• 16-inch travel — extended stroke designed for maximum wheel travel applications
• Coilover (C/O) design — integrates spring perch for coilover spring mounting
• Custom valving — tuned damping characteristics for specific performance requirements
• Black anodized finish — durable, corrosion-resistant coating
• R/R (Remote Reservoir) compatible — supports remote reservoir configuration for added oil capacity and cooling
• Built to Fox's stringent quality and performance standards used in professional off-road racing

The Fox 2.5 Series coilover shock is a top choice for off-road trucks, Jeeps, UTVs, and performance vehicles where serious suspension upgrades are required. Custom valving ensures this unit is optimized for a specific vehicle weight, spring rate, and driving style.
