Fox Racing Shocks 980-02-140-1 2.5 Series 10in Internal Bypass Coilover Custom Valving

The Fox Racing Shocks 980-02-140-1 is a 2.5 Series 10-inch Internal Bypass Coilover (C/O) Shock Absorber with a piggyback reservoir design and custom valving, finished in black. Built for serious off-road performance, the 2.5 Series platform is one of Fox's most capable shock lines, trusted by professional racers and hardcore off-road enthusiasts alike.

Fox's internal bypass technology allows the shock to deliver a controlled, compliant ride over small bumps at low shaft speeds, while automatically firming up under high-speed, high-travel impacts — providing the ideal balance of trail comfort and race-ready performance. The piggyback reservoir increases fluid capacity, helping to dissipate heat during extended, aggressive use and reducing fade on long runs.

Key Features:

• 2.5 Series large-bore shock body for increased fluid volume and heat dissipation
• 10-inch stroke internal bypass configuration for progressive, position-sensitive damping
• Coilover (C/O) design for integrated spring and shock assembly
• Piggyback (P/B) reservoir for additional fluid capacity and thermal management
• Custom valving tuned for optimized damping characteristics
• Black anodized finish for durability and corrosion resistance
• Rebuildable and re-valvable for long service life
• Manufactured to Fox Racing Shocks' industry-leading quality standards

The Fox 2.5 Series Internal Bypass Coilover is engineered for demanding off-road applications including desert racing, rock crawling, and high-performance overland builds where superior suspension travel and fade resistance are critical.
