Product Details

The Cometic C5317-120 is a premium Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) cylinder head gasket engineered specifically for GM LS Gen III and Gen IV small block V8 engines, including LS1, LS2, LS3, and LS6 variants. This gasket features a 4.130-inch bore diameter and 0.120-inch compressed thickness, making it ideal for both stock and performance applications.

Key Features:

  • Multi-Layer Steel construction provides superior sealing and durability under extreme cylinder pressures
  • 4.130-inch bore diameter accommodates standard and slightly overbored LS engines
  • 0.120-inch (120 thousandths) compressed thickness for precise compression ratio tuning
  • Designed for GM LS1, LS2, LS3, LS6, and other Gen III/Gen IV small block V8 engines
  • Embossed stainless steel layers with advanced coating technology ensure consistent clamping pressure
  • Handles high-performance applications including forced induction and nitrous oxide

Cometic MLS gaskets are the preferred choice of engine builders and performance enthusiasts for their exceptional ability to seal combustion chambers, withstand extreme temperatures, and maintain integrity through repeated heat cycles. The layered steel design allows for micro-movement between the block and head while maintaining a perfect seal, making this gasket suitable for street performance, racing, and high-boost applications.

Very fast transaction and shipping info.. Best price found on the internet..

Excellent place to deal with. I am a returning customer and love the fast shipping!!

Never used Autoplicity before but I sure do like the fact that it saved me from waiting 5 weeks on a back ordered item that I needed much sooner. Excellent service!

After shopping around for a specific cargo carrier, Autoplicity had the best total price by over $50 and great ratings, so I gave them a try. I received the SportRack Aero XL - A90275 last Thursday and am VERY impressed with their price and service. The cargo carrier arrived quickly (ordered Sat, rec'd Thurs) and in fine shape. I will recommend Autoplicity to my friends, and plan to shop with them for my future automotive needs.

Quick and easy!

Prices are very good. There was a slight issue with my order, but it was taken care of after being passed around to a few different departments when I called. Would order from them again.

So far so good! Just ordered the parts I needed for my car which I've been trying to find EVERYWHERE without success, until I arrived at autoplicity. Great price, and with a lifetime warranty I'm assuming great quality. I have faith that when the product arrives I will be highly satisfied.

Great price on my short ram air intake... Actually, best I could find on the Internet. Product shipped the day after the order. Haven't had any problems so far, but it was only shipped just today.

Great price, fast shipping, excellent customer service. I will definitely do business with them in the future.
