Product Details

The Pioneer Automotive Industries PE-189-B is a complete engine expansion plug kit designed to replace worn, leaking, or corroded freeze plugs (also known as core plugs or Welsh plugs) in compatible engines. Expansion plugs seal the casting holes left in engine blocks and heads during the manufacturing process, and replacing them is an essential step in any thorough engine rebuild or coolant system repair.

This kit from Pioneer Automotive Industries provides the components needed to restore a proper seal and help prevent coolant leaks at the block. Pioneer has long been a trusted name in engine sealing components, and this kit reflects that commitment to reliable, professional-grade parts.

Fits select 1983–1989 Honda models.
