REDARC CE25 Charge Equalizer for Systems Battery Charger - 25A 12V 24V

The REDARC CE25 Charge Equalizer is designed to manage a high-current 12-volt supply in 24-volt commercial vehicles and heavy equipment. This 25-amp unit allows you to safely tap 12 volts from the center point of a series-connected, two-battery 24-volt system while maintaining equal charge across both batteries.

Key Features:

• 25-amp continuous current capacity with high peak current capability
• Input isolation eliminates the need for additional relays or isolators
• Fast transient response for loads requiring stable 12V power
• Draws power directly from battery for superior performance vs. current-limited devices
• Actively monitors and balances voltage across upper and lower batteries
• Simple installation with minimal additional components required

Why You Need a Charge Equalizer:

Taking 12 volts from the center point of a 24-volt battery bank is common in heavy transport vehicles and earth-moving machinery for powering hydraulic pumps, tailgate lifts, cranes, and other accessories. Without a charge equalizer, this creates an imbalance where the lower battery becomes undercharged and the upper battery overcharged, leading to poor engine starting, equipment dropouts, battery leakage, shortened battery life, and costly maintenance.

The CE25 solves this problem by continuously monitoring both batteries and managing current flow between them to ensure equal charging effort at all times. This maintains starting power, restores normal battery service life, and prevents unnecessary downtime.

Applications:

• Electric hydraulic pumps for tailgates, decks, and ramps
• Crane and lifting equipment
• Commercial truck accessories
• Heavy equipment 12V loads
• Any 24V system requiring reliable 12V power

Proven reliable in commercial applications under the harshest conditions, the REDARC CE25 provides a clean, stable 12-volt supply for sensitive loads while protecting your battery investment.
