The AMP Research PowerStep XL is an automatic electric-powered running board system engineered specifically for lifted trucks. This plug-n-play system features integrated rocker rails that create a seamless, custom appearance while providing a stepping surface 3 inches lower than the original PowerStep design, making entry and exit significantly easier on lifted vehicles.

Key Features:

• Automatic deployment when doors open, retracts when closed for ground clearance
• Marine-grade 6063 aluminum construction with stainless steel pivot pins
• Integrated LED lighting system for enhanced visibility and style
• Black textured powder coat finish for durability and slip resistance
• Self-lubricating bushings for maintenance-free all-weather performance
• Pinch protection sensors reverse board direction if resistance detected
• 600 lb weight capacity per side
• Includes OBD connector for plug-n-play installation
• Controller module mounts under hood and connects directly to battery
• 5-year/60,000-mile warranty

Designed as stand-alone side steps, these boards integrate into custom rocker rails covering the pinch weld. The system deploys in approximately one second when any door opens and quietly retracts when doors close. High-strength die-cast aluminum components and sealed bushings ensure reliable performance in extreme temperatures and harsh weather conditions.
