Rein 11-61-7-560-538 Engine Intake Manifold Adjusting Unit Right

The Rein 11-61-7-560-538 is a right-side intake manifold adjusting unit designed for BMW engines with variable intake manifold technology. This precision-engineered component controls the intake manifold flap mechanism to optimize airflow characteristics across different engine RPM ranges, improving both low-end torque and high-RPM performance.

Key Features:

• Direct replacement for BMW OEM part number 11-61-7-560-538
• Right-side positioning for proper installation
• Manufactured by Rein Automotive to meet or exceed OEM specifications
• Controls variable intake manifold runner length for optimized engine performance
• Precision actuator mechanism ensures reliable operation
• Restores proper intake manifold function when original unit fails

This adjusting unit is a critical component of the variable intake manifold system, commonly known as DISA (Differentiated Air Intake System) in BMW applications. When this unit fails, symptoms may include rough idle, reduced power, check engine lights, and intake manifold flap position error codes. Replacing a faulty adjusting unit restores proper intake manifold operation and engine performance.
