EBC DP32246C Redstuff Ceramic Low Dust Disc Brake Pad Set

The EBC Redstuff DP32246C is a low dust ceramic brake pad set built for fast street driving. The compound is a synthetic fiber-based material enhanced with ceramic particles. It is designed to cut brake dust while delivering strong stopping power, including from cold.

Key Features:

• Low dust: EBC states the pads reduce dust by 60-90 percent, and the pad material contains no steel fibre particles, so the dust that remains washes off easily with a sponge.
• Strong cold bite: Braking from cold is described as equal to or better than original pads, and it improves as the pads heat up.
• Ceramic-enhanced compound: Synthetic fiber-based material with ceramic particles. EBC describes it as longer lasting, better braking and quieter than the earlier pre-ceramic Redstuff compound.
• Brake-In surface coating: Conditions the rotor surface and accelerates pad bed-in.
• Friction: Nominal friction coefficient of 0.5.
• Approvals: EBC states that most of its Red Ceramic pads are approved to the ECE R90 brake safety regulation.

Bed-in note: This is a hard wearing pad, and bed-in can take up to 1000 miles while the pad conforms to the shape of the rotor. Patience during this period is important.
