Product Details

The Cometic C5405-060 is a high-performance Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) cylinder head gasket designed specifically for Chevrolet Generation 1 Small Block V8 engines. This precision-engineered gasket features a .060" compressed thickness and a 4.125" bore diameter, making it ideal for performance applications and engine builds requiring precise combustion sealing.

Key Features:

  • Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) construction provides superior sealing and durability under high-temperature, high-pressure conditions
  • .060" compressed thickness allows for precise compression ratio tuning and deck height adjustments
  • 4.125" bore diameter accommodates stock and mild overbore applications
  • Specifically designed for Brodix BD2000 cylinder heads on Gen-1 small block Chevy engines
  • Stopper layer embossment controls gasket movement and ensures consistent clamping pressure
  • Requires proper surface preparation and torque specifications for optimal performance

Cometic MLS gaskets are a premium choice for performance engine builders, offering exceptional reliability in street, strip, and racing applications. The multi-layer design allows the gasket to recover and conform to minor surface imperfections while maintaining a superior seal against combustion gases, oil, and coolant.

I would like to have used Paypal (not the credit card) but could not.

The price as well as the turn time for receiving my product was great. I placed an order late Sunday evening and I have received my order by Wednesday of that week. I still can't get over how great the price was for the bike rack I ordered compared to all of the other sites out there.

Have not recieved order yet, but price was good. Will see how long it takes and if I get the right product. Writing this review before arrivial.

Best Price and fast shipping, not bad price for the shipping cost

Great company to deal with. Had a question and called the 800 number and spoke to a person not a computer..... a real pleasure to deal with.. A plus in my book....

Looked my item up on Amazon and autoplicity was the lowest by far. I ordered on Sunday, it was shipped on Tuesday, and I received it on Thursday.

Best price anywhere for a brand name item. Fast inexpensive shipping!
