Product Details

The Elring 888.605 (ELR-888605) is an original equipment quality intake manifold gasket designed for BMW vehicles equipped with M50 and M52 engines. Elring is one of the biggest OEM names in the manufacturing of high quality gaskets, having supplied many automotive manufacturers for years with the gaskets that seal vehicle components from day one.

Key Features:

  • Original equipment style gasket with fitment and function identical to the unit that came stock on the vehicle
  • Seals intake manifold to cylinder head
  • BMW OEM cross-reference: 11 61 1 717 259
  • Premium quality gasket material ensures reliable sealing
  • Direct replacement for worn or damaged original gasket

Each time the intake manifold is removed, the gasket must be replaced to prevent vacuum leaks and poor running that can result from reusing old gaskets. This Elring gasket provides the proper seal needed to maintain optimal engine performance and prevent air leaks that can affect engine operation.

I FOUND YOUR SITE SEARCHING FOR A FRIEND, WHOSE HUSBAND NEEDED A PART FOR THEIR CAR. NO NEED TO FOLLOW UP WITH MY SATISFACTION AFTER YOUR PART IS RECEIVED. IF I AM DIS-SATISFIED, YOU'LL HEAR ABOUT IT./////////////////////////////// ON THE DATE, MONDAY, 7-31-17 WHEN THE CAR PART WAS TO BE DELIVERED AND I HAD JACKED UP THE RIGHT REAR END TO INSTALL THE TAILPIPE HANGER AND I NEVER HEARD THE MAIL BOX ALARM I HAD INSTALLED WHEN THE LETTER CARRIER OPENS THE MAIL BOX, AND THE LETTER CARRIER COMES AROUND THE CORNER AT ABOUT 6 PM HANDS ME THREE PIECES OF MAIL AND I ASK FOR ME PACKAGE. HE LOOKS AROUND AND HAS NO PACKAGE. HE ASKS WHY I KNOW IT WAS DUE TO BE DELIVERED ON MONDAY. HE TELLS ME TO CHECK MY PC. I CHECK MY PC AND THE DUMMY LETTER CARRIER DELIVERED IT TO THE WRONG LOCATION AT 4:31 PM. HE KEEPS TELLING ME THE ROUTE IS NEW TO HIM. A LETTER CARRIER NEEDS TO KNOW TWO THINGS, THE STREET NAME AND THE NUMBER ADDRESS. THE ROUTE IS A STUPID RESPONSE. HE RETRACED THE ADDRESS A BLOCK AWAY AND FOUND MY PART WITHIN AN HOUR. THAT GUY ALSO USED THE EXCUSE HE WAS TRYING TO RUSH. FAST IS GOOD. ACCURATE IS BETTER. YOU GUYS DID GOOD. IT'S LUCKY I WAS OUT THERE WAITING FOR THE PART OR ELSE IT WOULD HAVE TAKEN SEVERAL DAYS TO RECEIVE IT. THAT LETTER CARRIER WITH 4 YEARS EXPERIENCE SHOULDN'T BE A LETTER CARRIER.

So far so good. I hope the part is as good as your service.

easy to find the part I wanted and quick and easy checkout.
