Genuine LNC1525AC Vapor Canister Purge Valve Solenoid

The Genuine LNC1525AC is an OEM vapor canister purge valve designed for Jaguar vehicles. This electronically-controlled solenoid valve is a critical component of the evaporative emission control (EVAP) system, which prevents harmful fuel vapors from escaping into the atmosphere while maintaining optimal engine performance and fuel efficiency.

Function and Operation:

The purge valve controls the flow of fuel vapors from the charcoal canister to the engine intake manifold. When the engine reaches operating temperature, the powertrain control module (PCM) signals the valve to open, allowing stored fuel vapors to be drawn into the combustion chamber where they are burned as part of the normal combustion process. This reduces hydrocarbon emissions and improves overall fuel economy.

Key Features:

• Genuine OEM Jaguar component ensuring proper fit and reliable performance
• Electronically-controlled solenoid for precise vapor flow management
• Part of the vehicle's EVAP system emission controls
• Replaces previous part number LNC1525AB
• Direct replacement for failed or malfunctioning purge valves

Common Failure Symptoms:

A faulty purge valve may cause the check engine light to illuminate with EVAP-related diagnostic trouble codes, rough idle, difficulty starting after refueling, decreased fuel efficiency, or failed emissions testing. This valve is a sealed assembly that should be replaced rather than repaired when it malfunctions.
