Nippon Reinz 1717362040 Air Surge Tank to Intake Manifold Gasket

The Nippon Reinz 1717362040 is a precision-engineered air surge tank to intake manifold gasket designed for Toyota 3.4L V6 (5VZ-FE) engines. This critical sealing component creates an airtight seal between the upper plenum (air surge tank) and the intake manifold, preventing vacuum leaks that can cause rough idle, reduced performance, and check engine lights.

Key Features:

• OEM-quality construction manufactured to Toyota specifications
• Multi-layer steel design for superior durability and heat resistance
• Precision-cut to ensure proper fitment and reliable sealing
• Resistant to extreme temperature fluctuations in the intake system
• Designed to withstand intake manifold pressures and thermal cycling

Nippon Reinz, established in 1967 as a joint venture between Mitsubishi Cable Industries and German Reinz Co., has over 50 years of experience manufacturing premium gaskets and sealing solutions for the automotive industry. Their products are engineered to meet or exceed OEM standards for quality and reliability.

Application Note: This gasket is commonly used during intake manifold service, plenum removal for spark plug access, or when addressing vacuum leaks on Toyota trucks and SUVs equipped with the 3.4L V6 engine. Two gaskets are typically required for complete upper intake manifold service.
