This intake plenum gasket is essential for maintaining proper engine performance and fuel efficiency. A failing plenum gasket can allow unmetered air into the intake system, bypassing the mass airflow sensor and causing the engine to run lean. Regular replacement during intake manifold service helps prevent costly engine damage and ensures optimal combustion.
