Specialty Chrome 3102BK Ready-to-Run HEI Distributor Ford 351 Windsor Black

The Specialty Chrome 3102BK is a ready-to-run HEI (High Energy Ignition) distributor designed specifically for Ford Small Block 351 Windsor V8 engines. This complete electronic ignition system eliminates the need for an external ignition coil and provides a simple, reliable upgrade from points-style distributors.

Key Features:

• Ready-to-run design with built-in ignition coil - no external ignition box required
• Magnetic pickup trigger system for reliable electronic ignition
• Vacuum advance mechanism for optimal timing control and fuel economy
• HEI-style terminal connector for simple wiring - typically requires just power and tachometer connections
• Black powder-coated finish for a clean, stealthy appearance
• Each distributor includes cap, rotor, and module pre-installed

HEI distributors are known for delivering a strong, consistent spark and simplified installation compared to traditional points or dual-component electronic ignition systems. The integrated coil design reduces underhood clutter while the vacuum advance helps maintain drivability across various engine loads. Ideal for street performance, hot rod builds, and muscle car restorations where reliability and ease of installation are priorities.
