Kumho 1646013 KRS03 All-Position Steer Tire 275/70R22.5 148/145M

The Kumho KRS03 is an all-position rib tire designed for regional and pickup and delivery applications, ideally suited for small and medium-duty trucks using 17.5", 19.5", and 22.5" tires. While primarily designed for steer axle mounting, this versatile tire can also be used on all axle positions. This long-wearing, durable rib tire features tread made of very hard and durable rubber that resists wear even in high scrub applications.

Key Performance Features:

• S-shaped sipes in straight ribs improve hydroplaning resistance and wet traction
• Four circumferential grooves channel water away from the contact patch to improve surface grip and safety
• Variable geometry groove edges prevent stone holding and enhance traction
• Stone ejectors in grooves improve casing durability by preventing stone drilling
• Lateral multi-sipes reduce the progress of irregular wear
• Wide, deep tread improves cost-per-mile, stability, and handling

The wider footprint and symmetric ribbed tread design increase contact with the road surface, enabling faster and more precise steering response while stabilizing the structure against driving pressure. The all-season compound and optimal siping detail provide excellent grip on dry, wet, and winter road surfaces.
