Product Details

The Gates 24455 Molded Coolant Hose is an OE-quality replacement coolant hose designed to deliver reliable performance in demanding automotive cooling system applications. This precision-molded hose is engineered to provide a leak-free connection and optimal coolant flow between engine components.

Key Features:

  • EPDM construction with synthetic fiber reinforcement for superior durability
  • Engineered to resist electrochemical degradation (ECD), the leading cause of coolant hose failure
  • Heat and ozone resistant cover for extended service life
  • Temperature range: -40°F to +275°F (-40°C to +135°C)
  • Pre-shaped to ensure proper fit and perfectly sealed connections
  • Meets or exceeds SAE specifications for coolant hose applications
  • Factory-molded to OEM specifications for exact fitment

Gates coolant hoses are built to withstand the constant transfer of hot coolant and chemical exposure that causes ordinary hoses to deteriorate from the inside out. The specially formulated EPDM compound resists vacuum collapse, reducing the need for internal springs while maintaining structural integrity under pressure. When it's time to replace your vehicle's coolant hose, trust Gates for OE-quality performance and long-lasting reliability.

Fits

2012-2013 Chevrolet Caprice

I didn't realize that the product I purchased required two separate skus. Your competition informed me of this, otherwise I would've only ended up with half the rack needed.

Good

Was very easy to find my item and paying through amazon was very nice.

Incredibly hard to find the right part, hopefully this one works

So far so good!

Not sure if they overlooked my order but I didn't get my shipping info (3 days after ordered) until I emailed asking for status update. I received a response the following day and all my items ordered came 2 days later...much faster than I had anticipated considering the "delay" or lack thereof (5 days total). Long story short...items are as described, best prices (from what I can researched online for same items/brand) and resonable shipping prices. the selection and brand(s) offered were somewhat limited for my specific needs, otherwise I would've ordered more.
