Product Details

The Gates 24459 Premium Molded Coolant Hose is an OEM-quality replacement hose engineered to deliver reliable cooling system performance. Factory-molded to precise specifications, this hose provides an exact fit for specific vehicle applications, ensuring proper coolant flow and sealed connections.

Key Features:

  • EPDM tube with synthetic fiber knit reinforcement for superior strength and durability
  • Heat- and ozone-resistant EPDM cover for extended service life
  • Engineered to resist electrochemical degradation (ECD), the leading cause of coolant hose failure
  • Materials specifically designed to resist vacuum collapse, reducing the need for internal springs
  • Pre-shaped design ensures proper fit and perfectly sealed conditions
  • Temperature range: -40°F to +275°F (-40°C to +135°C)
  • Meets SAE 20R4 EC Class D1 standards
  • Resistant to chemical coolants, heat, and ozone
  • Approved for marine applications

Gates molded coolant hoses are manufactured with premium materials that prevent the electrochemical reactions between hose, coolant, and metal fittings that create micro-cracks in standard hoses. This advanced engineering helps prevent coolant leaks and system failures, providing dependable performance and peace of mind.
