Product Details

The NGK 21553 oxygen sensor (also called an O2 sensor or lambda sensor) is an NTK OE type upstream sensor. It monitors the oxygen content of the exhaust and sends voltage signals to the engine management system. The system uses those signals to regulate the air/fuel ratio for efficient combustion, good fuel economy and lower emissions.

Key Features:

  • Switching zirconia technology with a thimble-type ceramic sensing element
  • Unheated design with 2 wires
  • 18mm thread diameter with a 7/8" (22mm) hex size
  • Wire length of about 13.5" (343mm)
  • Factory-style OE connector and attaching hardware for easy installation
  • Dual-coated platinum interface for fast light-off, quick response and long service life
  • Contaminant-resistant overcoat helps protect the sensing element from poisoning
  • Tested during manufacturing, including vibration and thermal shock testing, for quality and reliability

NTK is a leading original equipment supplier of oxygen sensors. This direct-replacement sensor is built to meet OE standards for fit, form and function. It can help restore fuel economy and engine performance and lower exhaust emissions.

You can tell customer service is important to this company. Not only were the prices lower than other places but they communicate the status of the order and shipping very well. They obviously care what people think. I was suspicious of all the positive comments but decide to try them anyways. Very happy I did and definitely plan on buying from them again.

This company offers profesional service at a very competitive price. The header collectors i ordered were not available at the big speed outlets. The fast shipping was also a plus. I would recomend Autoplicity to anyone who needs parts in a hurry !
