EBC MD865XC XC Series Contour Floating Brake Rotor

The EBC MD865XC is a premium XC Series floating motorcycle brake rotor featuring a contoured profile design for reduced weight and enhanced performance. This British-made disc utilizes German mill-rolled precision stainless steel rotor blades that are heat treated and diamond ground for superior braking performance.

Key Features:

• Patented SD (Square Drive) button system with square-sided rivets that allow the rotor blade to expand and contract freely under braking heat without suffering rivet lock
• Contoured profile reduces weight by 7.5% without reducing the actual cooling mass of the rotor
• Lightweight alloy center hub construction for reduced unsprung weight
• Mill-hardened stainless steel high-friction rotor blades for maximum brake effect
• Precision ground rotor surface for fast pad bed-in and 100% inspected for accuracy and runout
• Uses only six drive buttons, further reducing unit weight by up to 300 grams

The SD-Drive system completely eliminates rotor warping problems, extends rotor life, and improves consistency of brake effect by preventing rivet lock that causes distortion and vibration. Precision made in the United Kingdom to fine tolerances for durability and perfectly balanced to eliminate vibration. This is a direct OEM replacement rotor sold individually. New brake pads must be installed with new rotors.
