Product Details

The Kumho T131 Temporary Spare Tire in size T135/80D17 is a compact spare tire designed for original equipment applications. This space-saving spare allows vehicle manufacturers to reduce overall vehicle weight and maximize available trunk space compared to full-size spare tires, while providing dependable temporary mobility in the event of a flat tire, puncture, or roadside emergency.

Key Features:

  • Compact design with lightweight construction to save trunk space
  • 103M service description (1,929 lbs load capacity, M speed rating)
  • Standard Load (SL) range for passenger vehicle applications
  • Black sidewall (BSW) finish
  • Symmetric ribbed tread design for enhanced steering responsiveness and stability
  • UTQG rating of 420AA for treadwear, traction, and temperature resistance
  • 5/32" tread depth optimized for temporary use

Important Usage Guidelines:

  • Must be inflated to 60 PSI at all times
  • Maximum speed: 50 mph
  • For temporary use only - not intended for extended driving
  • Should be replaced with a standard tire as soon as possible
  • Tire only - wheel/rim not included

This temporary spare tire features a smaller physical size, shallower tread depth, and lighter construction than standard tires, making it ideal for emergency situations where temporary mobility is needed to safely reach a service location for permanent repair or replacement.
