This precision gasket features a .030" compressed thickness and 4.125" bore diameter, making it ideal for performance rebuilds and custom engine applications.

Key Features:

• Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) construction provides superior sealing and durability under high-pressure and high-temperature conditions
• 4.125" bore diameter accommodates standard and mildly overbored small block Chevy engines
• .030" compressed thickness allows for precise compression ratio tuning
• Undersized water ports enable custom port matching and coolant flow optimization for aftermarket cylinder heads
• Engineered for use with aftermarket performance heads on Gen-1 SBC engines (265, 283, 302, 307, 327, 350, 400)
• Advanced embossment technology ensures even load distribution and reliable sealing

Cometic MLS gaskets feature multiple layers of stainless steel with a Viton rubber coating, providing exceptional rebound characteristics and resistance to blowout. The undersized water ports on this gasket give engine builders the flexibility to customize coolant passages when using aftermarket heads, ensuring optimal flow and preventing gasket overhang into modified ports. This gasket is sold individually and is designed for professional engine building applications where precision and reliability are paramount.
