The COMP Cams Mutha' Thumpr CL33-601-5 is a complete camshaft and lifter kit engineered specifically for Ford FE series engines (352-428 cubic inch). This aggressive hydraulic flat tappet camshaft delivers the iconic Thumpr sound with excellent low-end torque and throttle response, making it ideal for muscle car restorations and street performance builds.

Camshaft Specifications:

  • Duration @ .050": 207°/220° (Intake/Exhaust)
  • Valve Lift: .444"/.465" (Intake/Exhaust) with 1.73:1 rocker ratio

This camshaft produces a radical idle with strong power from idle to 5,500 RPM. The Mutha' Thumpr profile is more aggressive than the standard Thumpr series, offering increased duration on the exhaust side for that unmistakable muscle car sound. Designed for street performance applications with automatic or manual transmissions, this cam works best with 9.0:1 to 10.5:1 compression ratios and requires 2,200-6,000 RPM operating range with a performance torque converter recommended.
