Product Details

The JP Group Dansk 10 7108 009 is an aftermarket ignition distributor designed as a direct replacement for air-cooled Porsche and Volkswagen engines. This unit features centrifugal advance and is comparable to the popular Bosch 009 style distributor, making it suitable for carbureted engines only.

Key Features:

  • Centrifugal advance mechanism for improved engine timing
  • Compatible with both 6-volt and 12-volt electrical systems
  • Advance curve allows idle at nearly 0 degrees and advances up to 40 degrees
  • Includes distributor cap and rotor for complete installation
  • Direct replacement for failed OEM distributors

This distributor is designed for classic Porsche models including 356A (1956-1959), 356B (1960-1963), 356C (1964-1965), 912 (1965-1969), and 914 carbureted models (1970-1976). It also fits various Volkswagen models including Beetle (1950-1974), Karmann Ghia (1956-1974), Type 3 Fastback and Squareback, Super Beetle, Thing, Transporter, and Campmobile. JP Group Dansk is a Danish manufacturer known for producing quality replacement parts for European vehicles.

Note: This is a blemished unit which may have cosmetic imperfections but maintains full functionality. Suitable for carbureted engines only—not compatible with fuel injection systems.
