Product Details

The Racing Power Company R4297 is a serviceable canister-style fuel filter designed for high-performance fuel systems in hot rods, muscle cars, and race vehicles. This small capacity filter features a durable chrome-plated steel body with a distinctive red powder-coated top for a classic performance look.

Key Features:

  • 10 micron paper filter element for excellent fuel filtration
  • Serviceable design allows filter element replacement without buying new housing
  • Chrome steel canister body with red powder-coated aluminum top
  • 3/8-inch NPT inlet and outlet ports for easy installation
  • Includes mounting bracket for secure installation
  • Small capacity design ideal for street performance applications

The R4297 uses replaceable service kit R4298, which includes a new 10 micron filter element, centering spring, and gaskets. This canister-style filter provides superior filtration while maintaining proper fuel flow for carbureted and fuel-injected engines. Note: This product is intended for off-road use and non-pollution controlled vehicles (1965 and older), and has not been approved by CARB for highway use in California.

Excellent selection, great prices, and fast shipping. I am very satisfied.

found exactly what i needed at the best price around! Thanks!

After seeing that Autoplicity was in good standing with the BBB and had favourable reviews reported elsewhere I placed an order on a Sunday evening. On Monday morning I already had a confirmation email and order number. On Tuesday I was notified that my order had shipped. Their price of $477 on the part I ordered was about $30 cheaper than Summit Racing, who I usually do business with, and the cost of shipping and handling was only a few dollars more. I haven't recieved the part yet but have no reason to think I won't be totally satisfied with the transaction.

great site

Best price around, very fast shipping and great service! I will buy from them again!

"Customer service was very helpful, very good prices. On its way the next day."
