Dorman 970-229 ABS Wheel Speed Sensor Direct-Fit Replacement

The Dorman 970-229 is a direct-fit replacement Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) wheel speed sensor engineered to restore proper ABS function. This sensor continuously monitors individual wheel rotation speeds and transmits that data to the ABS control module, enabling the system to modulate brake pressure and prevent wheel lockup during hard braking events.

Key Features:

• Direct OE replacement — engineered to match the fit and function of the original equipment sensor
• Transmits accurate wheel speed data to the ABS control module for reliable anti-lock braking performance
• Quality-tested with try-on and material testing to ensure proper fit and reliable operation
• Factory-style connector for a plug-and-play installation without modification
• Built by Dorman, a trusted aftermarket supplier with over 100 years of automotive parts experience

A failed ABS wheel speed sensor commonly triggers the ABS warning light, disables the anti-lock braking system, and may affect traction and stability control functions. The Dorman 970-229 provides a cost-effective, reliable solution to restore these critical safety systems to full operation.
