Galaxy 337465 HM-400S L-4S Smooth OTR Tire 18.00-25 40 Ply

The Galaxy HM-400S L-4S is an off-the-road (OTR) bias tire engineered specifically for demanding port service and heavy-duty material handling applications. This smooth-faced industrial tire features a 40-ply rating construction designed to handle the rigors of container handling equipment, reach stackers, and heavy forklifts operating on hard, abrasive surfaces.

Key Features:

• Smooth slick tread design maximizes ground contact area for superior traction and stability on paved surfaces
• Exceptionally abrasion-resistant rubber compound minimizes heat generation for extended service life
• Superior tread depth of 75/32nds compared to most E-4 tires at 68/32nds for longer tread life
• Wide, flat tread profile ensures optimal weight distribution and reduced ground pressure
• Specially constructed casing with 40-ply rating provides enhanced machine stability
• Strong sidewall construction resists cuts, punctures, and damage from debris
• Heat-resistant compound eliminates failures due to excessive heat buildup
• L-4S construction resists separation between plies and tread under high stress conditions

This tire is designed for use on wheel loaders, container handlers, and other heavy material handling equipment operating in ports, terminals, and industrial yards where maximum durability and long service life on hard surfaces are critical.
