Product Details

The Toyo NanoEnergy A29 is a touring all-season passenger tire engineered for fuel efficiency and environmental performance. Originally developed as factory equipment for the Toyota Prius from 2016-2020, this tire features advanced Nano Balance Technology that reduces rolling resistance to maximize fuel economy without sacrificing safety.

Advanced Technology Features:

  • Silica polymer compound dispersed throughout with steel belt reinforcement for enhanced wet grip and reduced rolling resistance
  • Three wide circumferential grooves with "silent wall" design for water dispersion and noise reduction
  • Detailed tread pattern with siping and notch placement provides extra biting edges for dry, wet and winter traction
  • Staggered asymmetrical tread blocks for improved handling and stability
  • UTQG rating of 300AB and M+S (Mud and Snow) rating

Performance Characteristics:

  • Nano Balance Technology minimizes rolling resistance for improved fuel economy
  • Circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning by effectively dispersing water and slush
  • Ribbed tread design maintains constant road contact for responsive steering and driving stability
  • Exceptionally quiet operation thanks to "silent wall" noise reduction design

This tire is sized at P195/65R15 with an 89S service description, featuring Standard Load (SL) range and 4-ply rating. The tire has a tread depth of 9.7/32nds of an inch. While there is no mileage warranty, Toyo provides a 5-year warranty on workmanship and materials, making this an excellent choice for eco-conscious drivers seeking balanced all-season performance.
