Standard Motor Products CVS135 Vapor Canister Vent Solenoid

The Standard Motor Products CVS135 Vapor Canister Vent Solenoid is a direct-fit OE replacement component for the EVAP (Evaporative Emission Control) system. This solenoid controls airflow through the charcoal vapor canister, preventing fuel vapors from escaping the fuel tank into the atmosphere — a critical function for emissions compliance and fuel system integrity.

A failed canister vent solenoid can trigger a Check Engine Light, cause failed emissions inspections, rough idle, or fuel odors. Replacing it with a quality OE-equivalent part restores proper EVAP system operation and vapor pressure regulation.

Key Features:

• Direct OE replacement — engineered to match original equipment specifications for a precise fit and function
• All-new construction — contains no remanufactured components for dependable, long-lasting performance
• High-grade industrial plastic housing — resists low and high under-hood operating temperatures
• OE-matched connectors and terminals — ensures a secure, plug-and-play connection to the vehicle wiring harness
• Proprietary molding technique — provides superior resistance to environmental influences, reducing the risk of leaks
• Suitable for city and highway driving conditions
