Standard Motor Products APS472 Accelerator Pedal Sensor with Plastic Pedal

The Standard Motor Products APS472 Accelerator Pedal Sensor is a direct-fit replacement component designed for drive-by-wire throttle systems. This assembly combines the accelerator pedal with an integrated dual-output position sensor that continuously monitors driver input and transmits precise throttle position data to the vehicle's electronic control module.

Key Features:

• Complete pedal assembly with plastic pedal construction for durability
• Dual-output sensor design ensures accurate throttle position monitoring
• Maintains OE-specific installed outputs rather than adjustable consolidated designs
• Undergoes rigorous end-of-line testing with thousands of data points to validate output voltages
• New, not remanufactured components for reliable performance
• Designed for both city and highway driving conditions

This accelerator pedal position sensor replaces the traditional throttle cable system found in older vehicles, providing the precise electronic control required by modern engine management systems. Standard Motor Products maintains complete control of the manufacturing process to ensure optimum performance and trouble-free operation.
