Product Details

The Vibrant Performance 1197T is a precision-engineered weld bung designed for installing exhaust gas temperature (EGT) sensors in custom exhaust systems. This essential component allows you to accurately monitor exhaust temperatures for tuning, diagnostics, and engine protection.

Key Features:

  • Pre-tapped 1/8"-27 NPT female threads for direct sensor installation
  • Constructed from high-quality stainless steel for corrosion resistance
  • Designed for permanent welded installation in exhaust piping
  • Compatible with standard 1/8" NPT EGT temperature sensors
  • Single unit package for custom applications

This weld bung provides a secure, leak-free mounting point for exhaust temperature sensors in performance and racing applications. The NPT threading ensures a tight seal while the stainless steel construction withstands extreme exhaust temperatures and harsh conditions. Ideal for custom turbo systems, header installations, and exhaust fabrication projects where precise temperature monitoring is critical.
