Product Details

The Cometic C5118-098 is a high-performance Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) cylinder head gasket engineered specifically for Ford 4.6L and 5.4L Modular V8 engines. This precision-manufactured gasket features a 92mm bore diameter and .098-inch (2.5mm) compressed thickness, making it ideal for performance and racing applications where superior sealing and durability are critical.

Key Features:

  • Multi-Layer Steel construction provides exceptional strength and heat resistance
  • 92mm bore diameter optimized for performance builds
  • .098-inch compressed thickness for improved sealing under high compression
  • Left-hand side (LHS) application for proper engine assembly
  • Designed to withstand extreme cylinder pressures and temperatures
  • Embossed stainless steel layers with viton rubber coating for superior sealing

Cometic MLS gaskets are the professional choice for engine builders seeking maximum reliability in demanding applications. The multi-layer design allows the gasket to adapt to minor surface imperfections while maintaining consistent clamping pressure across the entire sealing surface. This gasket requires proper surface preparation with an RA finish of 50 or smoother for optimal performance.

Very Quick and easy to place an order, let's see how fast it arrives!

Good service, great products and quick shipping. I received a good shipping discount using Google payment. Only problem was the item was shipped to my billing address instead of my shipping address.
