MBRP S5081409 3 Inch Cat-Back Exhaust System Pre-Axle Dual Side Exit T409 Stainless Steel

The MBRP S5081409 is a performance cat-back exhaust system engineered for 2009-2018 Silverado/Sierra 1500 trucks with 4.3L V6 or 5.3L V8 engines (and 2019 Limited/LD models). This Armor Plus Series system features a 3-inch mandrel-bent design with pre-axle dual side exit configuration and mirror-polished 4-inch OD tips for aggressive styling and enhanced exhaust flow.

Key Features:

• T409 stainless steel construction for corrosion resistance and durability
• 3-inch mandrel-bent tubing eliminates flow restrictions and bend rippling
• Pre-axle dual side exit with mirror-polished tips
• Bolt-on installation for straightforward fitment
• Enhanced exhaust tone with deeper, more aggressive sound
• Performance gains of up to 7 ft-lbs torque and 1 horsepower
• Backed by MBRP lifetime warranty

Construction and Materials:

Built from 16-gauge T409 stainless steel, this exhaust system offers excellent value and long-term rust resistance. The mandrel-bent tubing maintains consistent diameter through all bends, maximizing exhaust flow and reducing backpressure. This results in improved throttle response, better fuel efficiency, and modest power gains. The T409 material is engineered to withstand road debris, grime, and typical environmental conditions while remaining easy to clean and maintain.

Important Fitment Notes:

This system is designed exclusively for vehicles equipped with one-piece driveshafts and excludes Regular Cab configurations. The pre-axle dual side exit design routes exhaust gases before the rear axle for optimal ground clearance and distinctive appearance. Professional installation is recommended to ensure proper fitment and optimal performance.

What's Included:

Complete cat-back exhaust system with all necessary pipes, mirror-polished 4-inch OD tips, mounting hardware, and installation instructions. This is a direct bolt-on replacement for the factory exhaust system from the catalytic converter back.
