Product Details

The NGK 53147 (RC-CRX036) spark plug wire set, also called an ignition wire set or spark plug cable set, carries high-voltage current from the ignition coil or distributor to the spark plugs. It is built to OE-quality standards. NGK is known as The Ignition Specialist, and the wires are made for dependable replacement service.

Key Features:

  • Magnetic core construction: A 7mm wire-wound cable with a ferrite magnetic core gives ultra-low resistance. It also suppresses EMI/RFI noise.
  • High-temperature silicone jacket: The outer jacket withstands underhood temperatures above 250°C (482°F). It resists moisture, oil and cracking.
  • Premium inner insulation: EPDM/silicone insulation provides strong dielectric strength to contain high-voltage current.
  • Stainless steel terminals: Positive-locking, corrosion-resistant terminal ends resist vibration and separation. Serrated crimps bite into the cable for strong retention.
  • Custom-fit boots: OE-specified or better spark plug and distributor boots are sealed to the cable with silicone for a watertight connection.
  • Easy installation: Wires are numbered for cylinder identification, and coil wires are color coded.

Specifications:

  • Core material: SMag (suppression magnetic core)
  • Insulation material: Silicone
  • Insulation outside diameter: 7mm
  • Spark plug boot angle: 180°
  • Wire separators included: No
  • Fit: Application-specific
  • Warranty: Limited lifetime
