Product Details

The NGK 51422 spark plug wire set (also listed as NGK RC-GMX032) is an ignition wire set for replacing worn or cracked spark plug wires. Worn wires can cause misfires, rough idle and hesitation. NGK builds its wire sets to OE standards and is known as The Ignition Specialist™, with more than 80 years of automotive experience and OE expertise.

Key Features:

  • 7mm ultra-low resistance magnetic core, wire-wound ignition cable for consistent performance and good noise suppression
  • OEM or better specified spark plug and distributor boots for a secure fit
  • High-temperature silicone outer jacket rated above 250°C (482°F) resists moisture, oil, fuel and cracking from temperature extremes
  • Inner EPDM/silicone insulation helps contain high voltage
  • Stainless steel terminal ends are corrosion resistant and hold tight against vibration
  • Silicone seal at the spark plug boot
  • Numbered wires for easy cylinder identification, with color-coded coil wire for simple installation

This NGK wire set delivers dependable spark energy and long service life, so it is a good choice for restoring ignition performance on domestic applications.
