NGK 48899 (U5283) COP Pencil Type Ignition Coil

The NGK 48899 (U5283) ignition coil is a coil-on-plug (COP) pencil-type coil for distributorless ignition systems. It mounts directly over the spark plug and replaces spark plug wires. It delivers the spark your engine needs for fast starts, steady performance and efficient fuel use.

Key Features:

• OE-quality construction: Vacuum-sealed premium epoxy resin and thermoplastic housings give strong dielectric strength, voltage insulation and durability.
• Optimized performance: Precision coil windings and laminations maximize output. A custom NGK ASIC chipset improves efficiency and helps prevent component damage.
• Easy installation: NGK ignition coils include the ignition control module and a high-temperature coil boot. Jumper harnesses are included where required. This is a plug-in design.
• Thoroughly tested: NGK designs its coils and tests them in its ISO 17025 accredited test lab under extreme conditions.
• Warranty: NGK backs the coil with a 3 year/36,000 mile warranty.
