Product Details

The NGK 48619 HEI ignition coil (also listed as NGK U5131) is a direct replacement ignition coil built to meet or exceed OE standards for durability and operating performance. It converts the vehicle's low battery voltage into the high-voltage spark your engine needs for reliable combustion, which helps with smooth starts, steady idle and consistent power.

Key Features:

  • NGK part number 48619, also known as stock number U5131
  • HEI-style electronic ignition coil, 12 volt
  • Blade-type connector with 4 male terminals
  • Plug-in installation
  • Designed and tested to OE-level standards, including testing in NGK's ISO 17025 accredited lab
  • Backed by NGK's long experience in ignition technology

Interchange / Cross-Reference Numbers: D580, 12556450, 12558948, 673-7105, UF192, GN10374, E247, IC334, 920-1021.

Replacing a worn or failing ignition coil with an NGK coil helps restore dependable ignition performance. Typical signs of a failing coil include misfires, rough idle, hard starting and reduced fuel economy.
