Dorman 751-018 OE FIX Front Passenger Side Power Window Regulator and Motor Assembly

The Dorman 751-018 is a front passenger side power window regulator and motor assembly engineered as an OE FIX replacement — meaning Dorman identified a known weakness in the original equipment design and implemented a targeted solution for greater long-term reliability.

On the original window regulator, the slide block is prone to fatigue over time, causing the cable to bind and the assembly to fail prematurely. The Dorman 751-018 addresses this directly with a redesigned slide block built for significantly greater durability, along with added cable sheathing to eliminate stress and prevent elongation that can lead to repeat failures.

Key Features:

• OE FIX Design — Incorporates engineering improvements over the original to address known failure points
• Redesigned Slide Block — Built to resist fatigue and withstand the mechanical demands of repeated window cycling
• Cable Sheathing — Added sheathing eliminates cable stress and elongation for extended service life
• Complete Assembly — Includes both the regulator and motor, simplifying the repair process
• No Special Tools Required — Designed for straightforward installation without special equipment
• Validated Through Rigorous Testing — Engineered using finite element analysis, in-door cycle testing, and proprietary slide block compression testing

Dorman has been producing window regulator assemblies for the automotive aftermarket for over a decade, with engineering teams focused on identifying original equipment failure modes and delivering lasting solutions. The 751-018 restores full window operation with confidence.
